The Card Container block should be used for multiple cards in an area with optional ‘introductory text’.

Layout Options:

• Stacked – the stacked layout will display the optional Heading, Description and Button above the card content.
• Column – the column layout will display the optional Heading, Description and Button to the left of the card content.

Intro Content Options: all options are set to display by default. If a content item is not to be displayed, uncheck the toggle button in the block settings.

Format Options:

• Grid – displays the cards in a grid with the display showing 3-across if there is no Columns set. By default cards will stack on smaller screen sizes.
  • Mobile Slider – select this option if the cards should display in a slider on smaller screens.
  • Columns – the number of cards to display per row. Range is from 3-5 based on designs.
• Slider – displays the cards in a slider on all screen sizes
• Note that if the Column Layout is selected the cards will display in a listing view.

‘Manual’ Card Content:

By default the block will add 4 Manual Card blocks to the page. These blocks can either be edited as-is or they can be deleted to choose from another card block type to be inserted. These blocks can also be re-ordered as necessary.

Available card types: (also see card documentation for display fields)

• Card (manual) – Adds an image, kicker, heading, paragraph and button by default. If a piece of content is not needed it must be deleted as these are individual blocks, otherwise empty spaces will occur on the front-end.
• Dynamic Card – allows for user selection of any item in the WordPress content. Will automatically use information associated with that post such as titles, images, dates, locations.
• Flip Card – adds kicker, heading, image, back of card content: label & content (use Add Block functionality to add more items). Does not reflect the front-end view.
• Dynamic Member Card – allows for user selection of members added into Salesforce. (not integrated yet)
• Timeline Card (not recommended in this instance)

Dynamic Content Toggle – use this option to have fully dynamic content populate into the cards. There is no ordering when this setting is used.

• Count – how many items to display. Max is 25, but note this is not creating an archive listing with pagination. This number is the exact amount of items desired to be displayed.
• Post Type Selection – select which post type/s should be used to generate the card content.
• Taxonomies – used to further drill down the generated content. Example: Choosing News as the post type will then allow for News Types to be selected. Can select more than one term.
• Term Relationship – if more than one term is selected, how should the content match? ‘All’ terms is very specific in that only items matching all terms exactly will display. If ‘Any’ terms is selected then the items having only one of the matching terms will display.
