Receiving this scholarship helped to ease the financial pressures of being a starving student and allowed me more time to focus on my studies. I am happy to say that I graduated with a diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Category M with honors, and am currently working my dream job in helicopter maintenance.

School Officials
The Horatio Alger Association greatly values the support of educators, guidance counselors, and other school officials, as well as our community partners in promoting our scholarship programs. If you work with underserved youth (up to the age of 35), we encourage you to stay connected. We welcome goodwill ambassadors who are aligned with our mission and values, and want to increase awareness about the Association and our scholarships.
Join us in providing opportunities to promising young people and help us enable them to overcome critical financial need and other adversities as they pursue their education and career goals.
